Retina RSA-485 Surveillance Keyboard for PTZ Security Cameras
The only thing better than being able to remotely view security camera feed, is the ability to control the pan, tilt, and zoom of your cameras. Designed for use with any brand of PTZ camera, the RET2500 Surveillance Keyboard gives you just that ability – for multiple cameras simultaneously!
Control Multiple Feeds
The RET2500 Surveillance Keyboard allows you to control up to (32) PTZ cameras simultaneously. Because it is compatible with any brand of PTZ camera on the market, many of the specific features are determined by the camera itself. Rest assured that, no matter the PTZ camera, control is in your hands.
Connectivity
The RET2500 Surveillance Keyboard is connected to the camera by the RS485 format, two-wire connection. A Cat5 outlet allows you to connect the RET2500 to a computer for comprehensive management; just pull up the camera on your desktop and control via the joystick. The RET2550 can support the simultaneous linkage of (4) keyboards, and each keyboard can support up to (32) cameras! A DC power pack is included with the RET2500 to power the Surveillance Keyboard.
Configuration Options
Use the keyboard to pan, tilt, and zoom multiple cameras, as well as designate preset locations, camera selections, and tour presets. The RET2500 features (30) separate keys with large, easy-to-read labeling for simple navigation. Shortcut keys are directed by the settings of the cameras for quick command. Additionally, with some types of PTZ cameras, you can configure the camera settings directly from the keyboard! The RET2500 has a built-in multi-protocol and selectable baud rate.
Ergonomic Joystick
The Surveillance Keyboard also features an ergonomic Joystick for 360 degrees of smooth, manual control. Simply move in any direction to pan the camera and twist for zoom! The three-axis joystick can control the speed of pan-tile and lens magnification.
Display Screen
With a quick glance, you can keep track of camera number and position via the built-in display screen. This LED backlit screen allows for simple navigation of menu settings and statuses such as the command menu, protocol, current camera ID, output display ID, and joystick status.
