I now have four of these and they rock. No regrets and I never need to go to the theaters anymore. This does that much and more! I am happy I did this. I am now only wondering if getting a better receiver will make it better sense my 7.1 receiver puts 110watts per channel and they are capable of 300 watts. Besides that they are perfect!.

These speakers are quiet amazing. Right now they rock the block with some ESS's I have. I am so pleased that I ordered another set to really get a true 7.1 surround sound. You can hear it from 100 feet away at half volume through the less insulated walls. Turn these puppies up and you won't be disappointed. I'm a teenager and these ARE the loud speakers if I'd ever heard 'em. The only con with them is that they are so amazing that when watching a movie and during a loud scene you can't hear the center. It drowns it out...now taking for granted I had a crummy sony center. I will review the XLS-6C when it comes in with the new order. That should fix the problem a Cerwin Vega fitted center. I couldn't be disappointed with this at all! Order these you will be stunned and not dissappointed! Think of it as an investment too, these speakers don't go bad after a few years, the ESS's are 20 years old so stock up now and be set for for the next 20-30 years! I'll post when I have my 7.1 cerwin system up on how it turns out! SO STOKED!

A-1 Components, I still can't believe that I could place an order on your web site at 11:30 am on a Thursday, and receive the order the next morning. the speakers are great, haven't turned them off yet, thank you very much , if you looking for a pair of great house speakers, i can promise you on my head you won't be disappointed, no doubt!!!!!and i listen to every type of music their is,, to gangster rap with hard hitting bass, to death metal and everything in between. pushing them with a $200 2010 5.1 sony reciever ,,need i say more , thank you a1components!

I had a 15 year old set of Cerwin Vega RE 25 (10") woofer. The new VE 12F are better. I don't need a lot of bass. These put out the higher frequencies to make listening enjoyable no matter what I play! The old REs are getting refoamed and will be part of my home theater system. 15 years on a set of speakers means pretty good construction.
The VE 12F are highly recommended and offered at a great price with free shipping. I don't know how long that will last !
By the way, I ordered these on Monday and was listening to them Thursday night. Thanks for the fast shipping!

thay are the best speakers i have ever purchased.cerwin vega are the best loudspeakers on the market. bose makes nothing like this.ive had bose and they are junk compared to vegas . simpley the best hands down.

Speakers are built well. They look nice too. Fit and finish are good. I was told by people at A1 that I should get the 12's instead of the 15's since I was going to be pushing them with a THX Pioneer reciever alone. I cold have more than driven the 15's. Oh well. The 12's sound good. Just need more a lttle more bass. Sadly, I don't see the Cerwin Vega powered 15 on this site anymore. Just the 12. My luck.

I purchased a pair of Cerwin Vega 12" speakers to replace an older pair. I'm glad I did. These replaced an older pair of Cerwin Vegas with the same components and output. These of course sound much better and more defined - even in a louder environment. I think I'll buy another pair because they are truly sweet and descreet. I'm Sure the 15" Cerwins are even that much better!
