The preamp features a selectable FM trap that reduces FM signals (88- 108MHz) - 15dB to prevent overload from strong local stations, and a tunable FM trap that reduces a 3MHz band width by -12dB. Both are adjustable -- selectable without opening the housing.
Transistor burn-out is virtually eliminated with specialized circuitry featuring an ultra-fast recovery diode that protects against lightning-caused pulses. Operating temperatures are -40° to +140°F.
Surface mounted components are 1/10th the size of leaded components resulting in a more compact amplifier. The components are fastened more securely to the printed circuit board with little chance of breaking loose during shipping or severe weather. 117 VAC UL and CSA approved power supply is included.
