Description & Features

Ubiquiti Networks AM-2G15-120 airMAX Outdoor 2x2 MIMO BaseStation Sector Antenna (2.4 GHz | 15 dBI Gain)
The airMAX Sector Antenna is a Carrier Class 2x2 Dual Polarity MIMO Sector Antenna that was designed to seamlessly integrate with Rocket M radios (Rocket M sold separately). Pair the Rocket M’s radio with the airMAX Sector Antenna’s reach to create a powerful BaseStation. This versatile combination gives network architects unparalleled flexibility and convenience.

Utilize airMAX Technology
Unlike standard Wi-Fi protocol, Ubiquiti’s Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) airMAX protocol allows each client to send and receive data using pre-designated time slots scheduled by an intelligent AP controller. This “time slot” method eliminates hidden node collisions and maximizes airtime efficiency. It provides significant performance improvements in latency, throughput, and scalability compared to all other outdoor systems in its class.

Breakthrough Design and Performance
The innovative airMAX Sector Antennas feature carrier-class construction and 2x2, dual-polarity performance. Highly resistant to noise interference, the airMAX Sector Antennas provide superior gain and beam performance for high-capacity, multipoint networks.

Plug and Play Integration
Every airMAX Antenna has a built-in Rocket mount, so no tools are needed to install the Rocket BaseStation. What’s more, airMAX Antennas are crafted with robust mechanical design for outdoor application use.

airOS is a versatile, highly developed Ubiquiti firmware technology. It is exceptionally intuitive and was designed to require no training to operate. Behind the user interface is a powerful firmware architecture, which enables high performance, outdoor multi point networking. Among its features are: protocol support, Ubiquiti channelization, spectral width adjustment, ACK auto-timing, AAP technology, and multi-language support.

Integrated on all Ubiquiti M products, airView provides advanced spectrum analyzer functionality; waterfall, waveform, and real-time spectral views allow operators to identify noise signatures and plan their networks to minimize noise interference. You can even automate airView to record and report results.

airControl is a powerful and intuitive, web-based server network management application, which allows operators to centrally manage entire networks of Ubiquiti devices. Among its features are: network mapping, device status monitoring, mass firmware upgrade, web UI access, groups devices management, and task scheduling.
