Retina’s new AHD security camera lets you record in full HD over an analog signal. That’s right! You don’t need to upgrade your entire CCTV system for High Definition monitoring. AHD technology allows you to use your existing coaxial cables so you can record in full HD. What’s more, this camera packs all of the features you’ve come to expect from Retina including infrared cut filter and more!

AHD technology makes it easy to replace existing conventional analog security cameras and recorders because you won’t have to swap out any existing coax cables or low voltage power runs. As long as 12VDC is available at the camera end, you can just swap the cameras and the recorder and have a brand new HD security system.

This camera is equipped with a 2.8-12mm varifocal lens which allows you to adjust the field of view for close-up or wide angle recording. This enables the focus to change as the focal length and magnification changes, providing a crystal clear image – even when zoomed.

The IR Cutfilter turns on when the camera is operating as a color camera for precise color reproduction. With ICR, the filter is removed which allows for much greater light sensitivity in monochrome mode.

Easy to install and easy to operate, it is versatile enough to be mounted on a ceiling, wall, or any flat surface, once mounted, this camera can be positioned in any direction for optimal viewing.

This camera’s IP66 ingress rating means it can withstand anything mother nature or some perpetrator has to throw its way. Rest assured as the camera’s durable housing can take multiple beatings.
