Good Power handling and dynamic clear sound at any volume. Used as the rear surrounds in a 5 channel XLS SYSTEM. The surround channel on 5.1 mixed SACD's and Blu-Ray Discs is full range so you need a speaker that can produce bass, midrange and highs at a high volume, they do. Very pleased after minimal break in time they sound great. My inexpensive rear speakers sound better than most front speakers. Excellently voice matched to XLS-215 ad XLS-6C speakers. Solidly built and attractive best value in class.

We're using these speakers as surround sound...and what a difference from what Bose's speakers sounded like. I did not know surround channels actually carried low-bass signals until I hooked these up. Instead of just hearing highs from the back with Bose in the past, we can hear and feel the bass from the rear channels. Our Cerwin-Vega home theater, (especially the rear channels), now is finally complete. I'll never go back with Bose again!!!
